Privacy Policy
Last updated: February 25, 2026
Zero Relay is a privacy-focused AI chat application. This policy describes how we handle your data.
What We Collect
- Account: Email address and display name from Google or Apple sign-in. We never see your password.
- Conversations: Your messages, AI responses, and any files you upload.
- Settings: Custom instructions, memories, and preferences you configure.
We do not use analytics, advertising, tracking, or cookies.
How We Use Your Data
We use your data only to provide and operate the service. We do not sell your data. We do not use it for advertising or profiling.
AI Providers and Anonymous Relay
When you send a message, we relay it to the AI provider you selected (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or xAI) via our server-side API. Your identity is not shared with these providers. Requests are made through our API keys — providers see Zero Relay as the caller, not you. There is no account linking, no user identifiers, and no way for providers to associate a request with your identity.
Under our API agreements, providers do not use your data to train their models.
Provider privacy policies: OpenAI | Anthropic | Google | xAI
Infrastructure
Your data is stored on Google Cloud (Firebase) in the United States, encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is restricted to your authenticated account.
Data Retention and Deletion
Your data is retained until you delete it. You can delete conversations, memories, and projects from within the app at any time. To delete your entire account, email privacy@zerorelay.io.
Children
Zero Relay is not intended for users under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy and will note the date above. Material changes will be communicated through the app.
