What we protect, how we protect it, and what we can see.
01 · The relay
When you send a message, we pass it to the AI company for you. They get the words, because the AI has to read them to answer. They never get your name, your email, or your account. To the companies behind ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Grok, every request comes from Zero Relay.
02 · Encryption at rest
Your chats and memories are encrypted before they’re saved. If our database were stolen, the thief would get scrambled text. We hold the key that unscrambles it, and that key lives in a separate system from the data itself, so the two are never stored together. The key is what lets the product search your history and carry your memory between AIs.
03 · What we can and can’t see
What we can see
- Your chats and memories. They’re saved encrypted, and we hold the key. That’s what makes search and memory work.
- The email on your account.
- Which AIs you use.
What can’t be seen
- You, by the AI companies. Every request they get comes from Zero Relay, never from you. They don’t get your name, your email, or your account.
- Your chats, by anyone who steals our storage. A thief would get scrambled text, not your words.
04 · Where your data lives
Your data lives on Google Cloud servers in the United States, encrypted.
05 · What we don’t do
We don’t train AIs on your conversations, and we don’t sell them. To anyone.
06 · Who runs this
Zero Relay is independent and run by one person. There are no investors pushing for growth at any cost, no ads team, and no data business. Subscriptions are the only way we make money, so privacy is the only thing we build for.
